BFP Thermo® Teak Modern Interiors
What is Thermo® Teak Wood?

Workability
Thermally modified teak wood offers exceptional workability, akin to the ease reported by leading exotic wood dealers in India for walnut wood, provided its grain is uniform and straight. However, care may be needed when planing surfaces with figured or irregular grain patterns to avoid tearout. It readily accepts binding agents, stains, and finishes, achieving a smooth and polished appearance.

Sustainability
Teak trees are prized for their durability and beauty, their slow growth necessitates careful logging practices to ensure sustainability and prevent depletion. The species is not currently listed in the CITES Appendices or the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, reflecting its managed availability and responsible harvesting practices.

Common Uses
Our thermally modified teak wood finds wide application across various industries. It is particularly valued in the crafting of high-end furniture, durable flooring, precision cabinetry, and decorative interior paneling. Additionally, it is sought after for the production of gunstocks, veneers, turned products, and intricate wooden ornaments, showcasing its versatility and aesthetic appeal.
